Richard L. Sapp, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away December 5, 2014 in Indianapolis. Born April 9, 1933 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late George and Gladys (Welter) Sapp. He was a graduate of Howe High School in Indianapolis, and was self employed as a building contractor. Richard enjoyed historic cars, playing cards and telling jokes. Richard is survived by his wife of thirty seven years, Sandra; four sons, Richard L. Sapp Jr., Greg Sapp, Scott Sapp, and Kevin Sapp; four daughters, Pam Hanson, Kimberly Wells, Jamie Williams, and Lisa Marsh; a brother, David Sapp; two sisters, Jean Satterfield, and Marilyn Clements, and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kim Sapp, and a sister Virginia Sapp. Visitation and funeral services are private. Memorial contributions can be made to; the I.P.F.
