Richard C. Sesslar, 76, Greenwood, passed away July 15, 2017. The son of W. Carl and Lillian L. Oliphant Sesslar, Richard was born November 7, 1940 in Bloomington, Indiana.

A graduate of George Washington High School, in Indianapolis, Richard worked in sales with Quasar, then with Fisher Electronics, totaling over 30 years. After retiring, he worked for Kroger for an additional 12 years. For 25 years, he coached Beech Grove Little League baseball, football and basketball.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Rutledge Sesslar of Greenwood; son, Thomas (Kristen) Sesslar of Avon; daughters, Nina (Mike) McClain of Greenwood and Ashley Sesslar of Indianapolis; brother, Thomas L. (Martha) Sesslar of Texas; 12 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. July 19, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Greenwood.
