Richard T. Woolman, 86, of Indianapolis passed away September 30, 2017. He was born January 15, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to Howard and Frieda (Meyer) Woolman.

Richard proudly served his country in the Marine Corps. He was a very active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed golf and was an Indy car enthusiast. Richard''s favorite thing in life was his one and only grandson.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon (Farr) Woolman; brother, Howard "Woody" Woolman and sister, Mildred (Woolman) Buchanan.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Mindi (Andre Madar) Woolman and grandson, Elliot Madar.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3932 Mi Casa Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46237. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
