Rickie L. Staggs, 61, of Indianapolis passed away May 19, 2014. Born October 4, 1952 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Bruce and Virginia (Duvall) Staggs. He was a graduate of Southport High School and employed as an IT / Project Manager with Cummins Engines in Columbus, IN. He married Deborah L. (Wallace) on November 7, 1981 in Indianapolis. Rickie was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church where he played guitar in the church band.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; two sons, Jason Staggs, and Ryan (Alyssa) Staggs; two daughters, Amanda (Matt) Hawkins, and Shannon (Doug) Scott; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday May 23, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
