Ricky Crafton, 51, of Greenwood, passed away on October 27, 2011 with family by his side. Ricky was the son of Arjune (Fanning) Crafton and the late Kennith Burl Crafton. He was born in Kentucky and attended Wood High School. He was married August 7, 2007 in Burksville, KY to the love of his life Rose. He also served our Country proudly in the U.S. Army. He worked as a CNA at The University Heights Nursing Home. Survivors include his wife, Rose Crafton, Greenwood; his mother, Arjune Crafton, Indianapolis; one son, Kristopher Crafton, Kentucky; four step-sons Benjamin Plaunt, Greenwood; Jeremy Plaunt, Albany Kentucky; Travis Sweet, Greenwood; Nathan Sweet, Greenwood; two step-daughters, Megan Crafton, Kentucky; Angela Wagoner, Ft. Wayne Indiana; two brothers, Kenneth (Lorie) Crafton, Indianapolis; Ronnie Crafton, Columbus Ohio; two sisters, Pam (David) Dalton, Bargersville; Linda (Mike) Berner, Crossplaines Indiana; seven grandchildren; two nieces, Ashley Crafton; Amber Williams. He was preceded in death by his father Kennith Crafton; his grandparents; Nina Barker; Durward Barker; a granddaughter, Gracie Hurt. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens immediately following service
