Ricky Dale Ingram Jr., 37, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away at home on March 6, 2026. He was born to the late Ricky D. Ingram Sr and Angela Ingram

Ricky was a devoted father to his son, Lukas, a loving family member, and a loyal friend whose presence could brighten any room. Born and raised in Indianapolis, he built his life around the people he loved most — especially his 14‑year‑old son, who was the center of his world.

Ricky spent his entire career in the food industry, working his way into management through hard work, dedication, and the kind of leadership that made people feel valued. His coworkers knew him as someone who showed up, lifted others up, and always found a way to bring humor into even the busiest days.

Outside of work, Ricky loved playing cards and video games with his friends, where his competitive streak and bubbly personality always shined. He was the kind of person who would do anything for anybody — quick to help, quick to laugh, and quick to show how deeply he cared.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Angela and Ricky Ingram Sr., whom he loved dearly and carried with him in memory throughout his life. He was also proceeded in death by several grandparents, aunts and uncles.

His greatest joy was his family. He loved them fiercely, openly, and without hesitation. His kindness, warmth, and generosity will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to know him.

He leaves behind his beloved son; his three sisters, Tiffany (Mark) Vielhaber, Laura (Ryan) Heldman, and Jennifer Ingram; as well as extended family and many friends who will forever cherish his warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.
