Rita Rae Deschner, 63, of Indianapolis, Indiana died Friday, October 2, 2009. Rita was born to the late Elbert and C. Allene Morris Thacker in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 5, 1946. Rita was a LPN with different nursing homes working with the elderly. Surviving are two sons and a daughter in law: Lee & Justine Payton, and Leon Payton. One daughter and son in law: Lisa & Mike McFadden. Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One brother and sister in law: Larry & Susie Thacker. One sister: Renita Bastin. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 4-7 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135 Greenwood, IN 46143. Graveside service will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials may be given to Toys for Tots.
