Rita K. Harting, 70 of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024. She was born to the late Melvin and Betty Burkhart.

Rita is survived by her companion Donnie Black and many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She is proceeded in death by both parents; husband Jerry Harting (2017) and a sister Karen Burkhart (2022).

Rita was a devoted Christian. She was a member of Honey Creek Church. She enjoyed playing Wii Bowling and loved being with her friends.

A visitation will be Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bohall officiating. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Rita will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
