Robbie Nell Floyd, age 86, of Indianapolis went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. She was born May 27, 1929 in Collinswood, TN to Mittie (Wilbanks) Caperton and her husband, Charles Welford Caperton. Robbie was a cashier at Hooks Drugs and later CVS for many years. She loved to read her Bible and spend time with her family. She married Ira "Jack" Floyd and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1994.

Robbie is survived by her sons, Billy and Jerry Floyd, of Indianapolis; daughters, Shirley (Linville "Lee") Huff of Shepherdsville, KY and Mary N. (Brad Mercer) Floyd of Indianapolis; brother, Carl Ray (Shirley) Caperton of Otsego, MI; sisters, Joan (Terry) Romans of Lincoln, AR and Yvonne (Ernest) Clay of Dangerfield, TX; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Floyd and sister, Ruth Lott.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association.
