Robert "Bob" Anthony Cerbone, Sr., 73, of Martinsville, passed away December 5, 2015. The son of Anthony James and Dorothy Marie Riley Cerbone, Bob was born August 16, 1942 in Orange, New Jersey.

In 1964, Bob received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and in 1968 his Masters of Science in Engineering from Newark College of Engineering. In 2006, after 37 years, he retired from Eli Lilly and Company. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren''s activities and sporting events, especially the girl''s basketball games at Martinsville. Bob loved the outside, being in the sun and taking care of his yard.

Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diana Dittmeier Cerbone of Martinsville; sons, Robert A. (Nikki) Cerbone, Jr. of Indianapolis and Vince R. (Mariah) Cerbone of Greenwood; daughters, Deneen E. Kus of Greenwood and Liza M. Borgert of Fishers; sister, Joan Petrillo of Parsippany, NJ; grandchildren, Chelsea T. Kus, Travis M. Kus, Anthony A. Cerbone, Jake R. Cerbone, Justin N. Cerbone, Vivienna E. Cerbone, Quinnly C. Cerbone, Myles A. Cerbone, Libby C. Borgert and Kendall G. Borgert.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. December 10, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 S State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
