Robert Gene "Bob" Huffman, age 61, of Greenwood, passed away October 23, 2010. He was born September 28, 1949 in Indianapolis to Marvin and Geraldine (Rutledge) Huffman. Bob graduated from Danville High School, Class of 1968 and received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Indiana State University. He was a teacher at Monrovia Jr. /Sr. High School and the Cross Country coach. He was also a huge supporter of the cross country programs at Center Grove High School and Huntington University. He married Cindy Story on August 17, 1979 and she survives along with their son, Alan, and one brother, Richard Huffman. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Charles, and one sister, Ruth Ann Dinkel. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 28 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. The family request memorial contributions to Greenwood Christian Church Building Fund.
