Obituary

Robert Henry Booth passed from this life to the next on September 15th at age 92. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mable Bovendar Booth in 1997 and later married Martha Cross, a lifelong friend of the couple, who survives. Robert was a WWII veteran. On his return home he worked for Myers appliances until his retirement in 1981. He then began his avocation as the beloved "Candy Man", making cream filled chocolates until just a few weeks before his death. Robert was a loving family man and is survived by his sons, Carl and David, daughters-in-law, Kathie and Susan; grandchildren, Carla, Brian and Eric; and great-grandchildren Samantha, Samuel and Sydney. He was also deeply loved and cared for by Martha''s family, including daughters Marjorie and Jane, husband Doug and their children and grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Monday, September 21st at 11 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be made to the church.
