Robert Edward Durham, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away September 7, 2013. The son of Benjamin and Mary Titrich Durham, Robert was born February 19, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

A carpenter, he retired from Basic American Industries. He was a longtime member of Tallwood Chapel and Greenwood Masonic Lodge F.&A.M. # 514, where he proudly served as first cook for many years.

Robert is survived by his wife, Laura; daughters, Deborah (David) Mock and Kimberly (Russell) Roe; grandchildren, Nicole Gramer and Todd Roe; five great-grandchildren, Christopher, Shelby, Cassi, Michael and Kenda. Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a son, Gary M. Durham; brother, Clayton Durham and sisters, Betty Fox and Frances Thorpe.

Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. September 10, 2013 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where a Masonic service will take place prior to a 7:00 p.m. funeral service. Private burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
