Robert E. Turner 89, of Indianapolis passed away January 14, 2020.  He was born in Indianapolis to the late Clifford and June Turner.  Robert is survived by his children Glen Turner, Ronald G. (Katherine McPherson) Turner, Paula (David) Lentz; grandchildren April (Michael Gates) Kendrick, Angela (Cathy Taylor) Turner, Julie (Timothy) Farley, Michael (Amber Cutting) Lentz, Alex (Ariel) Robinson, Brian (Candace) Robinson,  and William Turner; great grandchildren James Kendrick, Alana Kendrick, Emma Farley, Anna Farley, Brantley Beauchamp, Brayden Robinson, Kory Robinson, and Raelyn Robinson; and great great granddaughter Sage Kendrick.  He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Turner; and sister Marjorie Massey.

Robert was a United States Marine Corp Korean War Purple Heart Veteran.  He retired from Allison's where he was a Machinist; and also owned and operated with his wife Patricia, Grandma's Ceramic Nook for over 20 years.

Visitation will be held Thursday January 23 ^rd from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 S. State Rd. 135 Greenwood, IN 46143, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
