Robert A. Johnson, 82, of Greenwood, passed away January 20, 2013. The son of Albin F. and Judith E. K. Sanders Johnson, Robert was born April 5, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois.

Robert served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in Japan. An underwriter with Universal Writers Insurance Company, Robert retired in 1992 after 35 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post #252, Greenwood.

Services 11:00 a.m. January 24, 2013 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Entombment with military honors will follow. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. January 23, 2013 at the funeral home.

Robert is survived by his wife, Wilma I. Goodwin Johnson; son, Jeff (Barb) Johnson; daughters, Kim Blankenship and Kelly (Joel) Franks.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association or the American Heart Association.
