Robert (Bob) Warren Kaylor, Sr. passed away peacefully on December 26, 2019 at the age of 92.  He was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 12, 1927.

At the age of 15, Bob enlisted in the Navy and served from September 23, 1942 to October 25, 1945.  He was honorably discharged and married Dorothy Eileen Bowsman on March 31, 1945.  After working as a truck driver for Boise Cascade for 28 years, he retired in 1992.   He and Dorothy were married just shy of 48 years until she passed away in 1993.

Bob enjoyed fishing and fixing anything "McGuyver" style that was broken.

He leaves behind 1 daughter, JoAnn (Jim) Cox and 3 sons, Robert W. (Sue) Kaylor, Jr, Michael (Katy) Kaylor, and Tracy Kaylor, along with 4 grandsons, Robert W. (Traci) Kaylor, III, Cameron Kaylor, Derek Kaylor and David Kaylor; and 3 granddaughters, Michelle Cox, Lindsay (Aley) Wagers and Stephanie Kaylor.

Bob also had 8 great grandchildren: Dominique Scott, Lauryn Scott, Madison Wagers, Malia Wagers, Hunter Wagers, Daylen Kaylor, Zachary Kaylor and Lee Kaylor; and 1 great-great grandson, Tucker Wagers.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Roudebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis for the exceptional care they provided.

A private military service will be held for immediate family only.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Roudebush VA Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
