Robert J. Linn, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away April 16, 2016. Born February 21, 1925 in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Warner R. and
Elizabeth (Salmon) Linn. Robert worked as a manufacturing supervisor with WABCO in Indianapolis for more than thirty six years, retiring in 1983. He was an avid bowler, loved playing Euchre, watching Western movies, College basketball, and music. He worked two jobs to support his children''s Catholic education. He is survived by a son, Brian Linn; three daughters, Diane Crowley, Vera Kirlin, and Judi Martinez; eight Grandchildren, seven Great - Grandchildren, and four Great - Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was very proud of the fact that, at his ninetieth birthday party there were five generations represented. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Stephen Linn, a brother, and two sisters. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN,
with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
