Obituary

Mr. Robert Cleveland Mink, Franklin, went to be with the Lord on the late evening of Saturday, August 29, 2020. He was 90. Robert was born February 13, 1930 in Greenbrier, Tennessee, a son of the late Johnnie C. and Lucille (Cherry) MInk.

Robert honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the VFW Post in Franklin. After a short time of employment with Arvin, he started his own business, Mink's Repair Service operating it until his retirement.

Robert had a heart for giving, both of his time and resources. He gave to the St. Jude Hospital for Children for many years and would often contribute to other charities, always helping others. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. He was also a member of the First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Franklin. He was loved by many and will be missed but never forgotten.

He is survived by his sons, Jerry Mink and John Mink; his grandchildren, Erica Mink, Jennifer Mink, Tim Mink, Dallas Mink, Jay Mink, Jason Mink and Brian Mink; several great-grandchildren; his sisters, Doran Eden and Juanita Barton as well as several nieces and nephews.
