Robert Lee Russell, Franklin, IN, passed away on June 30, 2026. He was 91 years old. Bob was born in Indianapolis, IN, and he graduated from Warren Central High School, class of 1953. Bob married his wife, Sharon Swartz (Eggert), in 1993, and they shared 33 years of marriage together.

Bob was an enterprising man and worked a variety of jobs throughout his life. Most notably, He worked as a mechanic for Carburetor Exchange for over twenty years. Bob was a Free Mason for a time during his life. Bob was also a dog person and raised several beloved dogs. He will be missed by those he leaves behind.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon Russell; his children, Bob, Pat, Bill, Dawn, Mike and Teresa; his stepchildren, Mike (Lisa) Swartz, Janet (Rob) Garrigus, and Steve (Shari) Swartz; his several grandchildren & great grandchildren; his nephew, William Russell.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; his son Barry; his siblings, Rusty, Bill, Teresa, and Pat.

In accordance to Bob’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
