Robert L. Turner Sr., 74 of Beech Grove passed away on April 8, 2018. Robert was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 12, 1943 to Frank and Grace Turner. Robert loved tinkering on cars and was proud to be a mechanic. He enjoyed attending Church and was often found with his Bible in hand. Robert would give the shirt off his back to anyone he could; he truly enjoyed helping others. He will be greatly missed.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Louella Alice (Delmar) Suhrkamp, Lavada Lucille (James) Balay, Frank Melvin Turner Jr., Norvetta Helen (Jack) Balay, Jacqueline Sue (James) Crabtree, Timothy John Turner, Merle Harley Turner; brother in law, Ronald Redden.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn (Holdren) Turner; sons, Robert L. (Sarah) Turner, Jr. and Ellis M. (Kathy) Turner; daughter, Penny (Randy) Darling; 10 grandchildren' 13 great grandchildren; sister in law, Mary Turner and Linda Turner; sister, Lilly Mae (Dennis) Sutton and Sandra Kay Redden.

Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143 with visitation from 12:00 PM until the start of service.
