Robert R. Wilson, 84, of Indianapolis passed away July 2, 2016. He was born September 17, 1931 in Woodburn, KY. His children and grandchildren were with him when he passed.

Robert proudly served his country in the army during the Korean War. He retired from 3 places of employment, National T Standard Grocery Warehouse, Noble Centers and IPS Manuel High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 46 years, Cecelia; 14 brothers and sisters and son in law, Mike Biggs.

He is survived by his children, Deborah Biggs, Rebecca Wilson, James (Debbie) Wilson and Starla (Jay) Bullard; grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Biggs, Nicole, Amanda and Rebecca Biggs, J.R. and Jimmy Bullard, Bradley (Sarah) Wilson, Mistie Ryan, Michael Pearson and Derrick Wilson; great grandchildren, Cierra Berry, Cienna Biggs, Michael and Madelyn Biggs, Bo Wilson, Kyndra Carrigg and Michael Pearson; 1 sister, Nora Brennan as well as many nieces and nephews and his loving canine companian, Snowball.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7 from 10 am - 12 pm with a funeral service at 12 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
