Roberta Fulton Bolden, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away September 3, 2010. She was born October 11, 1926 in Indianapolis to the late Robert and Cora (Allison) Fulton. She was married to Donald E. Bolden on June 14, 1946; they were married for forty six years. He precedes her in death. Roberta graduated from Broad Ripple High School on 1944. She was a long time member of Edgewood United Methodist Church. She also served as a Cub Scout Den Mother and volunteer mom for the Edgewood Little League. She was a fifty year member of the Southport Eastern Star, and the Shrine Losa. Roberta retired from L.S. Ayres after twenty-nine years of bookkeeping and accounting. Survivors include her children, Stephen (Julaine) Bolden of Indianapolis, James Bolden of Indianapolis, Lorna (Jerry) Mathers of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Family and friends will gather in Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. with a service immediately following.
