Rodney G. Stearns, age 55, of Indianapolis, passed away November 28, 2013. He was born February 2, 1958 in Indianapolis to William and Wanda (Blakely) Stearns.

Rodney graduated from Arsenal Technical High School with the Class of 1976. He was a bricklayer and a member of Bricklayers Local # 4 IN/KY. He was a member of HOG Chapter Southside and an avid Harley Davidson fan. Rodney loved spending time with his grandchildren and will be very missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Teresa; son, Rodney G. (Nicole) Stearns, Jr.; daughters, Jessica (Frank) Clubs, and Tara Eakle; brothers, Darryl (Missy) Stearns, Forrest (partner, Robert) Stearns; sister, Debra (partner, Jodie) Stearns; half-sister, Sue Ann Stierer; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
