Roger Benton Taylor, Lebanon, IN, passed away on the afternoon of December 29, 2022. He was 71 years old. Roger was born in Franklin, IN to his parents Ray and Bertha Taylor. He graduated from Decatur High School, class of 1969.
Roger worked as a senior computer programming analyst for Balkamp NAPA and retired in 2000 after over 25 years of service. Roger enjoyed attending classic car shows with his daughter Alicia. He found joy in repairing old cars and always appreciated their designs. Additionally, Roger's famous white beard aided him in his portrayal of Santa Claus for many years. Roger's unique sense of humor will also be missed by those closest to him. The memories created will now be cherished by those he leaves behind.
Roger is survived by his children, Brian Taylor and Alicia Taylor; his grandchildren, Malena Lyons, Gabrielle Taylor, Sydney Lydting and Mackenzy Lydting; his sister, Brenda Brash.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation for Roger will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. The funeral service will be on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 1:30 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2:30 pm.
