Ronald Edward Bain, 70, of Avon, Indiana passed away Friday, April 17.  He was born June 15, 1949 in Thermopolis, Wyoming to Byron and Belle (Longwell) Bain.

Ron was a proud Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam war. He married Beatrice Miller on April 24, 1999.  Ron was a member of Teamsters Local 135, retiring from trucking in 2013.  When Ron wasn't driving across the country, he enjoyed hunting and fishing in his beloved Wyoming.  He was a member of the Lynhurst Baptist Church in Indianapolis.  Ron was well liked and easy going.  Above all, he loved his family and will be greatly missed.

Ron is survived by his wife, Bea; step-children, Kevin Miller, Charles "Bill" Miller, and Angel (Dave) Lair; grandchildren, Logan, Shelby and Emerson Lair; and niece, Brandy.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by siblings, Butch and Bev.

Ron will be laid to rest Monday, April 20 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at a private family service.  A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society: https://www.cancer.org/
