Ronald Stanley Simpkins Sr. (Stan), 77 of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on November 15, 2020.  He was born in Crittenden Co. Kentucky to the late Sylvan E. and Mary F. Simpkins.

Stan enjoyed classic cars and country music.  He proudly served in the 25th Infantry and fought in Vietnam from 1964-1966. He lived a wonderful 77 years as a son, brother, father to many, grandpa, great grandpa and a loving husband.  He would never shy away from striking up a conversation with another veteran and thanking them for their service.

Stan you will be missed by so many, but with the mountain of memories you left us, you will be remembered in our hearts daily, we all love you so very much.

Stan is survived by his wife Linda Simpkins, son Ronnie Simpkins Jr. (Sasha); step children Kevin Shadday (Wendy); Brian Shadday (Adrienne) and Angela Sanner (Bo), 9 Grandchildren; Keelee Klinge, Jason Simpkins, Shayna Baranowski, Jerika Shadday, Kevin Shadday Jr, Desiree English, Savannah Shadday, Jared Sanner and Austin Sanner and 5 Great Grandchildren; Ellison, Abrihanna, Charlie, Dax, and Dawson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Patsy Joe Cory, daughter Laurie Shiosaki and grandson Zachary Sanner.

Stan's wishes were to be cremated with no services, his cremains will be laid to rest in Kentucky with his mother and father.
