Ronald "Dean" Watson 74, Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, and friend passed away Sunday evening January 30, 2011 in his home, with his loving wife and family by his side. Dean was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 2, 1936 he was the only child to the late Claude Watson and Blanche Ferguson Watson. In 1954 he graduated from Arsenal Technical High School where he excelled in football, track, and wrestling. Dean was the 1954 State Champion in wrestling. He then went on to play football at Hanover College. In 2008 he was inducted into the Arsenal Technical High Schools Athletic Hall of Fame. He was a retired member of the Carpenter''s Local #60. Dean also owned a successful contracting business for many years. He attended Mt Pleasant Christian Church He was an avid reader, a brilliant artist, and the keeper of many obscure facts. Dean is survived by his caring and devoted wife Marjorie Ann Shipley Watson of 52 years, his sons Gary (Karen) Watson, Randall (Leslie) Watson, Michael (Christina) Watson; grandchildren Ronnie (Heidi), Joshua (Jessica), Dalton Watson, Gregory and Jenna Watson, Victoria Grace Watson, Nathaniel Radcliffe, Kirsten and Jaquelyn Branham; great grandfather of Dean Andrew Watson.
