Mrs. Mary Roslyn 'Rosie' Walker, passed away on the early evening of Friday, August 20, 2021 at Greenwood Village South, where she had resided the past several years. She was 97. Rosie was born April 12, 1924 in Trafalgar, Indiana, a daughter of the late Hugh H. and Ollie (Stamper) Brock.

Rosie attended Trafalgar High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1942. Rosie had been a long-time resident of the Trafalgar area until she retired and moved to Greenwood. She was also a member and past president of the Franklin VFW Women's Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending much of her leisure time playing cards, especially Euchre and playing other games of which Bingo was a favorite. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her friends and family and was an excellent cook. She was particularly proud of her great-granddaughters and her great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Trafalgar Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Harry) Stephenson and Karen (Bob) Seacat; two grandchildren, Kelly (Arthur) Miller and Kevin (Lori) Walker; four great-granddaughters, two step-great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren as well as three nieces.

In addition to her parents, Rosie is preceded in passing by her husband, Chauncey L. Walker and a brother, Rex Brock.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with burial following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
