Mr. Roy Edward 'Bud' Huse, Connersville, passed away on the afternoon of Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Heritage House Healthcare Center in Connersville. He was 92. Roy was born November 29, 1927 in Arcadia, Indiana, a son of the late Roy and Mary Belle (Mundy) Huse.

Roy graduated High School and had earned some college credits before beginning career with Western Electric that lasted more than 33 years. After retirement he worked another 10 years for Sears Roebuck and Company and then retired for good after working for Central Hardware in Greenwood.

He enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, playing Euchre and Solitare, shopping, reading and going to the library where he would check out self help books.

Roy deeply loved his family and immensely enjoyed family gatherings. Roy had been a Deacon while he was a member of the Villa Baptist Church in Indianapolis and later attended Emmanuel Church in Greenwood. Roy was a proud veteran, having served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Navy

Roy is survived by his wife, Betty R. Hogan Huse; his children, Roy D. "Buddy" (Dianna) Huse and Brenda Gierke (fiancé Michael Langley); his stepsons, Tim Hogan, Rick Hogan and Kent Hogan; his grandchildren, Zoe Renee Huse, Amber Dawn (David) Swinehammer, Autumn Skye Huse and Mikayla Paige Huse; his great-grandson, Austin David Swinehammer and another on the way, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his first wife, Banna Jean (Turner) Huse and 10 brothers and sisters.

Private services will be conducted with military honors being conferred by a contingent from the United States Army. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
