Ruby L. Robinson, 92 of Greenwood, passed away on Tuesday April 14, 2026. She was born to the late Manuel and Lucilla Pabon.

Ruby worked as a Title I Reading teacher at Whiteland Elementary School. She was also a longtime member and officer of the VFW 6978 Auxiliary in Whiteland and the American Legion Post 252 in Greenwood. She loved to travel, read, garden, volunteer, dance, & go to the casino and racetrack. She was an avid sports fan and loved attending church at St Rose of Lima.

Ruby is survived by her children Randy & Becky Mitchell and Robin Robinson; stepchildren Paul and Karen Robinson; eight grandchildren Heather (Jeremy) Wright, Whitney (Scott) Vibbert, Austin Robinson, Briana (Evan) Rutter, Christopher Lynn, Bobby, Ryan and Emma Mitchell; 12 step grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest C. Robinson; both parents; a daughter, Shannon Robinson, stepdaughter, Sharon Robinson, and one grandchild, Danielle Lynn.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 21 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at Saints Francis & Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church in Greenwood at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Forrest, and daughter, Shannon, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
