Russell J. Wuest, age 84, of Indianapolis, passed away December 31, 2010. He was born July 24, 1926 in Indianapolis to George J. and Ruth D. (Schaller) Wuest. Russell was a WW II Army veteran and an assembly worker at Western Electric for many years. He was an avid fisherman, and loved to work in the yard. He was also a huge Cincinnati Reds, Colts, Pacers and Indy 500 fan. Russell is survived by his son, Keith (Linda) Wuest; daughter-in-law, Shirley J. Wuest; sister, Charlene (Larry) Morrow; 6 grandchildren, Brian (Breanna), Kimberly Wuest, and Kevin Wuest, II; Emily (Matt) Windell, Stephanie (Matthew) Douglass, and Joanna Riddle; and 8 great grandchildren, Taylor, Cole, Brigham, B.J., Jordan, Bailey, Ethan and Keelyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Barbara; son, Kevin; brother, George; grandson, Kyle; great grandson, Caiden. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 6, at 10:30 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
