Ruth Coffman, 84, of Greenwood, passed away May 30, 2012. The daughter of John H. and Mahala Martin Stoner, Ruth was born June 3, 1927 in Plainville, Indiana.
A retired medication inspector with Eli Lilly and Company, Ruth attended Greenwood Christian Church. Pastor Shan Rutherford will conduct a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. June 4, 2012 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
Survivors include her daughters, Dianne (Raymond) Lynch of San Clemente, CA, Stephanie (Martin) Fitz of Beavercreek, OH and Debra S. (David) Eckstrom of Greenwood; brother, Cecil (Jeanette) Stoner of Sumter, SC; four grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter. Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas, whom she married on August 29, 1948 in Greenwood; her sister, Patricia Wampler; brothers, Harley, Arthur and Ray Stoner.
