Ruth Lefevers, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away October 13, 2017. The daughter of James E. "Ed" and Mary Hodge Dozier, Ruth was born September 19, 1929 in Kettle Island, Kentucky.

A homemaker, she was a member of Shelby Street Pentecostal Lighthouse. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family - especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Otis Lefevers of Indianapolis; sons, John (Della) Lefevers of Indianapolis and Daniel (Kim) Lefevers of Greenwood; daughter-in-law, Lorri Lefevers of New Whiteland; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mary, Stephen, Rebecca, Katie, Hannah and Gary; great-granddaughters, Haylie and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by a son, Steve Lefevers.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. October 18, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. October 17th and one hour prior to services. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
