Ruth Bond Friddle, 90, of Indianapolis, died Monday, December 28, 2009 at her home. Ruth was born to the late John and Eldora Bond in Harrisburg, IL on June 6, 1919. Ruth worked 25 years with Catherines Stout Shops in sales. She was a proud member of the Red Hats. Surviving are one daughter and son in-law: Carleen and Bryan Sutherlin. Three grandchildren and a spouse: Jason Evans, Matthew and Andrea Evans, and Julia Sample. Five great grandchildren: Ashley, Austin, Ben, Emily and Isaiah Evans. Ruth is preceded by her husband, Carlyle Friddle. Two sisters: Helen Byrne and Glayds Craggs. One brother: George Bond. Family will receive friends from 12 noon till time of service at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Family ask for memorials to be given to the Center United Methodist Church, 5445 Bluff Road Indianapolis, IN 46217.
