Ruth L. Hemeier, 90 of Greenwood passed away on August 15, 2018. Ruth was born in Marshall, IL on July 13, 1928 to Everett and Ruth Macke. Ruth spent her early childhood in Marshall and then her teenage years in Terre Haute. Ruth was very dedicated to tending to her yard, keeping her flowers and lawn pristine. Ruth was a dedicated housewife; she enjoyed cooking and baking. Ruth was always doing for others and enjoyed the reward of being praised.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; siblings and devoted husband, Victor Hemeier in 2006. She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Jim) Arvin and Criss (Bruce) Kreiger; grandchildren, Chad (Kearston) Arvin, Mandy (Chris) VanRoo, Andrew (Wendy) Kreiger and Eric (Jill) Kreiger; great grandchildren, Garrett Arvin, Aubrey VanRoo, Amelia VanRoo, Brayden Kreiger, Kynsley Kreiger, Madison Kreiger and Layla Kreiger.

A graveside service will be held at 2:45 PM, Monday, August 20, 2018 at ForestLawnMemoryGardens, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN46143
