Ruth I. LaMastus, 87, of Fishers, and formerly of Greenwood, passed away March 19, 2014. Born February 5, 1927 in Sydney, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lilse and Mary (Roberts) Hopkins.
Ruth was a graduate of Knightstown High School and attended the University of Indianapolis.
She married Hugh "Jack" LaMastus in December of 1975.
She was a homemaker, and member of Emmanuel Church of Greenwood. She attended Grace Community Church in Fishers.

She is survived by sons, Paul A. (Shelly) Perdue, and Kenneth (Susan) Perdue; daughter, Carol Gillman; sister, Margaret Glancy; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Jerry G. Perdue and Tom C. Perdue, and sister Virginia Hopkins.

Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Sunday, March 23, 2014 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 2 - 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
