Ruth Ann Watkins, 84, of Franklin, passed away July 7, 2015. Born September 8, 1930 in Princeton, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late William and Willie Mae Johnson. She was a 1948 graduate of Princeton High School. She married William Lawrence Watkins on August 10, 1950 and worked as a homemaker for her family. Her survivors are her daughter, Rebecca Oaks; three grandchildren, Kyle William, Rachel Ann, and Michael Stephen Oaks; two great grandchildren, Raylie Sue Woolwine and Evelyn Grace Oaks. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband William. There will be no service or visitation. Interment will be at a later date in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to the Johnson County Humane Society, and/or The Wounded Warrior Project.
