Ruth C. McKim, age 86, passed away Wednesday, June 2. She was born Nov. 11, 1923 in Bargersville, IN to Charles and Florence (Bailey) Kephart. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for many years. She married Robert D. McKim, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1990. She attended Christ United Methodist Church. Ruth loved to do crafts and paint and she was a member of VFW Aux. Post #2999 and American Legion Aux. Post #500. Ruth is survived by her sons, Robert D. Jr, (Margaret), of Rehoboth, MA and John McKim, of Indianapolis; daughters, Sharron (Stephen) Moots, of Indianapolis and Carolyn (Jonathan) Marsh, of Frazee MN; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be Sunday, 1:30 PM, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation on Saturday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial will be Monday at 10:00 AM at Washington Park East Cemetery.
