Ruth A. Messer, 86 of Greenwood, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2024. She was born to the late Kent and Esther Agan.

Faith and family were always so important to Ruth.  She loved working in the yard and tending her flowers. She worked for Eli Lilly and was the "lunch lady" at Calvary Lutheran School. Ruth was in a euchre club for many years.  She also hosted bible studies and was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 67 years Harold "Art" Messer; sons Mark and Jeff Messer; six grandchildren Stephanie, Courtney, Erika, Kyle, Adrew, and Maria; five great grandchildren Maddox, Blakely, Ledger, Cash and Jamison and a brother Bill Agan. She is preceded by both parents and a sister Mary Poehler.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 11:00 am until the time of service at Calvary Lutheran Church. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the church. Ruth will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
