Ruth M. Schilling, 97, formally of Indianapolis, died December 15, 2008 in Indianapolis. Mrs. Schilling was born in Marshall, Illinois on July 20, 1911 to Ausby Ray McCrory and Lillian Mooneyhan and they preceded her. Ruth married Herman F. Schilling and he died in 1990. Ruth had been a switchboard operator with Mooney Mueller Ward in Indianapolis for a long while. Ruth was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star, and had been very active with the old University Heights Hospital as a volunteer. Surviving is a son and his wife: Karl F. and Nancy Schilling of Franklin, IN. One sister: Dorothy Morrison. Also two grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by four brothers. Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday, December 18. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 S.
