Ruth K. Yoder, 83, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012. Ruth was born on November 7, 1928 to the late Michael and Cora Wagler. She married her love Elvin Yoder on August 30, 1951.
Ruth was a homemaker all of her life. She was a very caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Ruth was an avid reader and very active in her church, Grace Baptist Church.
Ruth is survived by her loving children: Linda Pittman (Doyle) and Karen Dickerson; siblings: Paul Wagler (Dorothy), Ray Wagler (Carmen), and Ada Stout; grandchildren: Brian Pittman, Kimberly Pittman (Jeremy Osgood), Philip Dickerson (Heather), and Stephen Dickerson; and a soon to be great-grandson.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elvin; and 4 siblings.
Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family during their time of loss. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Grace Baptist Church, 740 W. County Line Road, Indianapolis, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Baptist Church Mission Fund.
