Samuel Darrell Anderson, 58, of Woodville, TX, passed away October 30, 2016. He was born July 19, 1958 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps as a drill instructor for 10 years. He was a hard-working, genuine, and kind man. He was a proud man, but he did not flaunt it. He was an amazing father, he loved his family, especially his grandbabies.
He is survived by his parents, Samuel Anderson, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN; mother, Yvonne "Donna" Anderson of Indianapolis, IN; children, Tiffany Fields and husband, Eddie of Indianapolis, IN, John of Lumberton, TX, and Zachary Anderson and wife, Brittany of Granbury, TX; brother, Jeffrey Anderson and wife, Kathy of Franklin, IN; sisters, Deborah Kriech of Indianapolis, IN and Gwendolyn Smith and husband, Billy of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Kade Pruitt, Riley Fields, Nolan Fields, Dakota Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Araminta Anderson, Ethan Anderson, Brecken Anderson, and Paxton Anderson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will be having a memorial gathering for Samuel "Darrell" Anderson on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post #205 - 1200 Park Avenue Franklin, IN 46131. Please join us and help us celebrate his life.
