Sandra Kay Brown was born August 21, 1943 in Beech Grove, IN to Luther and Effie (Walkub) Pope and beloved step mother, Eunice Pope. She was a graduate of Beech Grove High School. She lived in Indianapolis until 1975, and then moved to Davenport, Iowa where she remained until her death. She is survived by her children, Christopher and Patrick Brown and Robin Day; grandchildren, Brittany, Paige and Cameron Brown and Myla Day; two brothers, David Sweetman and Kenneth Pope; two sisters, Patty Walker and Joyce Richardson. Sandy was preceded in death by one brother, Pete Pope. Sandy was loved by many and will be truly missed. Those that know her best will miss her quirky ways. Sandy was a kid at heart, she would bring a smile to your face and a hearty laugh with her famous dance moves! Grandma Sandy we will miss you, and we love you! Mom you were the best mom, you showed us how to be kind, caring and compassionate to others. We love You Dearly! Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 14 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
