Sandra U. DeMichieli, 68 of Englewood, FL., formerly of Greenwood, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011. She was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Kenneth and Alverta Deere. Sandra retired after 26 years from the International Paper Company, where she was a Director of Human Resources. Sandra and her husband William "Bill" were the former owners of the Flaming Hearth Restaurant located in the Greenwood Shopping Center. Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years William "Bill" DeMichieli; two sons, George M. Burton, William "Todd" DeMichieli; two daughters, Cheryl Hayden, Laura Benco; two sisters, Marcia Biddlecomb, Virginia Boles. Family and friends will gather in Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a service following on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM also in the funeral home.
