Mrs. Sandra Lerita Tolle, Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord on the early morning of Saturday, June 8, 2024. She was 82. She was born June 29, 1941 in Franklin, Indiana, a daughter of the late Duward Samuel Eby Sr. and Dorothy Katherine (Toromoehlen) Eby.
Sandra attended and was a graduate of North Central High School in Indianapolis. Throughout her life, she held various occupations, but her greatest joy came from being a homemaker, dedicated to caring for her family. Sandra was an excellent crafter, enjoyed arranging flowers and was a lifelong bingo enthusiast. Her family was her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, especially her grandchildren. Sandra had a loving spirit and a servant's heart, exemplified through her caregiving for several family members, especially her husband during his long illness.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Don) Zuehl and Sherri (Tam) Nguyen; her grandchildren, Aaron (Amy) Nguyen, Justin Moss, Kimberly (Jonathan) Astin and Michael Nguyen; her great-grandchildren, Titus Nguyen and Mackenzie Nguyen as well as her brother, John David Eby. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in passing by her loving husband, John Tolle Jr.; her son, John Tolle III; her granddaughter, Yevette Moss and four brothers and a sister.
Sandra's loving spirit, dedication to her family, and servant's heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood, with Pastor Tim Lanigan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Sandra will be laid to rest beside her husband at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
