Sandy L. Stegemoller, Franklin, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She was 73 years old. Sandy was born in Indianapolis, IN to her parents Hartford and Mary Land. She attended Washington High School and later returned to complete her GED. Sandy married her husband Charles "Doug" Stegemoller on  September 10, 1982 and together they shared 27 years of marriage until Doug passed away in 2009.
Sandy worked for 24 years as a manager for Ted Lansing Corporation until she decided to stay home to care for Doug. Sandy loved to be a mom, grandma and sister to her respective family members. She loved working and staying busy. On her off time, Sandy loved to sing, go bowling, and spend time with her beloved animals that she adopted. Sandy was always a fan of playing the slots at the casinos with her friends; trying to hit the jackpot was a favorite pastime of hers. The memories created will now be cherished by those she leaves behind.
Sandy is survived by her children, Jamie (Kris) Jones, Charlene Napier (Alan Larkin) and Mindy (Jeff) Davis; her grandchildren, Larry, Amanda, Ashley, Alyssia, Mackenzie, William, Jacob and Jordan; her 14 great grandchildren; her siblings, Eddie, Donnie, Phyllis, Tommy, Sherry, and Rhonda; her several nieces and nephews.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles "Doug" Douglas Stegemoller; the father of her children, Pete Woolsey; her brothers, Jimmy and Junior; her 3 infant sisters; her sister-in-law, Sally Dodson.
A visitation for Sandy will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Entombment will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm.
