Mrs. Sarah Ruth "Sally" Baughman, Indianapolis, passed away on the early morning of Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Brooke Knoll Village. She was 91. Sally was born January 31, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana,, a daughter of the late Harold Leroy and Alice Maria (Ginsberg) Buck.

Sally was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and had been employed as a secretary for the Steamfitters and Pipefitters Union Local 440 and retired in 1995 after many years of service. Sally was quite an athletic lady. She spent much of her leisure time playing or watching golf, bowling and watching basketball and football, especially the Indianapolis Colts. She rode her own motorcycle and would often challenge her husband to a quick race. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and canoeing all of which the family holds fond memories. Sally liked to eat out in restaurants

as well as taking car rides to the airport.

Sally is survived by her son, Randy Baughman; a granddaughter, Melissa Moats; her brother, Luke (Coleen) Buck as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, Robert Arthur Baughman in 1995 and her brothers, Tom Buck, Paul Buck and Brad Buck.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
