Sarah Jane Woods, 93, of Greenwood, passed away Friday December 12, 2014 at Greenwood Health and Living. The daughter of Charles and Carrie Jackson Jones, Sarah was born March 16, 1921 in Lyons, Indiana.

Sarah retired in 1977 after 25 years as a Service Assistant with Indiana Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Survivors, son, Gregory S. (Karen) Woods of Greenwood; granddaughter, Angie (David) Rockel of Indianapolis and great grandchildren, Nathan, Aubrey and Camren Rockel. Besides her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. Woods; brothers, Charles and Gerald Jones and sisters, Ruby Hall, Betty Hasler and Rachel Jones.

Rev. Shan Rutherford will officiate at funeral services 12:00 noon Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
