Seren Elyse Porter, 15, of Indianapolis, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday,  April 27, 2024. She was born the first of three to Regina K. Porter on July 10, 2008.
Seren was a sophomore and attended Perry Meridian High School. She had a very loving and caring spirit. Seren's passions were exploring, being outdoors, looking at the night sky while charting stars, and making and wearing beautiful jewelry. She liked flowers, reading, collecting little treasures, and being with her loved ones.
Seren is survived by her mother, Gina; her sisters, Marissa and Kasey; grandparents, Beulah and Lawrence Porter; uncles, Lawrence (Faith) Porter, David (Jessica) Porter, Danny Porter and cousin Ashton (Kyle) Scruggs as well as several great-uncles and great-aunts.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens & Funeral Home, Greenwood.
The Funeral service will be at Emmanuel Church - Banta Campus, 6602 South Harding Street, Indianapolis at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2024.  Seren will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens following the services at the church.
