Shane Joseph Bishop, age 39, of Indianapolis, passed away January 2, 2013. He was born January 14, 1973 in St. Louis, MO to Gene and Terrie Lee (Eckhard) Bishop. Shane was a graduate of Pike High School Class of 1991 and was also a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a car salesman and an avid Colts fan. He loved to fish and to spend time with his family.

Shane married his wife, Tracy Bishop, on March 19, 2005 and she survives along with his sons, Brock Bishop and Blake Bishop; daughter, Shyanne Bishop; brothers, Fred Shotzbarger, Scott Smith, Derek Bishop and Brad Bishop; sisters, Tammy Gilmor, Carrie Grimaldi, Keirsten Fisher, Sandra Severin, Suzahnne Severin and Jamie Moore; grandmother, Doris Eckhard; step-mother, Kay Bishop and aunt, Kathleen Gray. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, IN with visitation from 12:00 Noon until service time at the funeral home.
